Lips to Love -2!

IMG_0678Looking for the perfect new lipstick for spring? Don’t invest in a new shade until you have read this!! 🙂                                                                                                                                                    Hi!                                                                                                                                                               I’m back to give you my next set of tips for defeating those winter lips! (Ignore the fact that I just rhymed, that was really lame.)

Now that your lips are exfoliated and moisturized via “Lips to Love 1”, you have to ch00se the right color for you! The first step is determining your undertone. Flip your wrist and look at your veins. What color are they? Are they an icy blue? Then your fair skinned! Are they a more olive/greenish blue? Then your warm! Another way to test your undertone is to look at your jewelry. If you prefer the way you look in silver, you have a cool undertone! If you prefer the way you look in gold, you have a warm undertone!

If you can’t tell, and you tend to wear both silver and gold, you may be neutral!

If you have a cool undertone, you will have more pink in your skin. Look for colors with bluish undertones to make that pink pop!

If you have a warm undertone, you will have more yellow in your skin. You need colors with more orange undertones to bring out the best in your coloring!

If your a neutral, either tone will work for you!

I personally am a neutral. My favorite lipstick is this brilliant red shade called “Hot damn” by “Be a Bombshell”. It has a gorgeous blue undertone, but I’ve yet to see it not flatter warm skinned girls as well!

Thank you so much for reading this and I hope it helps you find that perfect new lipstick! Watch for the next article on long lasting application!

Taylor, with love
